Nice Winery is again partnering with The Periwinkle Foundation by offering a new vintage of their award-winning charity wine, a 2015 Petite Sirah from St. Helena in Napa Valley. 30% of the proceeds from every $40 bottle sold benefits Periwinkle’s Camps, Arts, and Survivor Programs.
Wine information: This luscious, full-‐bodied Petite Sirah is from a single vineyard at the base of Spring Mountain in the St. Helena appellation of Napa Valley. The vineyard is on the west side of the Valley floor and benefits from copious direct sunlight during the growing season as well as cool breezes in the afternoon– a perfect situation for Petite Sirah. The 2015 harvest year was hot and dry, producing very concentrated berries and a rich, dark wine. Our Petite Sirah exhibits the typical deep black and purple hues that, amazingly, come from only 10 days of skin contact. Aged for 10 months in oak. Enjoy with ripe cheeses or a well-marbled steak.
