The 20th annual Cycle for Life will be held at the Houstonian Club on Saturday March 7, 2015.
The Periwinkle Foundation’s 20th Annual Cycle for Life – “There’s No Place Like Periwinkle” – presented by White Oak Energy, has biking and spinning enthusiasts from around the city teaming up for an exciting fundraising event. The indoor bike-a-thon brings participants together for a fun-filled morning that will ensure the continuation of powerful Periwinkle Foundation programs. Proceeds from this event enables the Foundation to provide healing programs and camps that positively change the lives of of children, young adults and families who are challenged by cancer.
Cycle for Life involves teams of four rallying together to raise funds while spinning to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. Each team spins for four 30 minutes heats.
Individuals are welcome to participate in the event as well. Activities throughout the morning include a silent auction, children’s games and fun for the entire family.
Cycle for Life is an annual indoor spin challenge held at The Houstonian Club.
How can I participate?
- Be an event Sponsor
- Start a team – Participants can start a Team with 4 people. Each rider should raise a minimum of $250 or ($1,000 per team)
- Support a rider or team by making a donation to The Periwinkle Foundation
- Volunteer to work the event
- Periwinkle Supporters
- Leisure cyclists
Proceeds from the event benefit The Periwinkle Foundation’s programs that positively change the lives of children, young adults and families who are challenged by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and are cared for at Texas Children’s Hospital.
