Stargazing\, horseback riding and ziplining are just a few of the incredibly relaxing and joyous activities that take place during Periwinkle’s Long-Term Survivor Weekend Retreat. SUMMARY:McAllen Family Camp
DESCRIPTION:McAllen Family Camp is a weekend (Friday afternoon – Sunday morning) overnight camp held twice a year for pediatric cancer patients treated at Vannie Cook Children’s Clinic – Texas Children’s Hospital and their families. The patient must be between the ages of 5 and 16 years. Siblings can be as young as 2 years old to attend McAllen Family Camp. Camp is free of charge to all campers.
