DESCRIPTION:Virtual Spring Camp YOLO will be hosted April 9-10\, 2021 in an engaging and interactive online format featuring live activity sessions hosted by Periwinkle counselors\, volunteers\, and special guests! We look forward to the day when we can all safely gather again in-person\, and until then we are creating the BEST VIRTUAL CAMP EVER based on your feedback and the creativity of so many talented individuals. \nVirtual Spring Camp YOLO will have 3 LIVE scheduled Zoom activities. Based on the feedback from campers last year\, we are keeping and revamping the most popular activities\, such as Minute to Win it and Tie Dye! Every camper will receive a Camp In A Box filled with supplies needed for the activities\, a camp t-shirt\, and other fun Periwinkle swag! We know it’s going to be a creative and meaningful time with our Periwinkle community! \nQuick Facts\nWhen: Twice a year (April & September)\nSpring Camp YOLO April 9-11\, 2021 (Virtual)\nFall Camp YOLO September 24 -26\, 2021 \nWhere: Hosted virtually online using Zoom! \nWho: Patients\, ages 13-18\, receiving care from the Cancer and Hematology Centers\, Cardiology Center (Heart Center)\, Rheumatology Clinic\, Renal Center (Kidney Center) and Retrovirology Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital. Each patient may take one sibling in the same age range.
