My Affection

Mom, who is kind when she makes my favorite food, chicken Alfredo,
or takes me to my favorite place, Carrabba’s, to get it.
Mom, who gives her time when we talk to each other and have little conversations.
Mom, who is smart, like every time I ask her something,
she knows about it and knows even more details about it.
Mom, who knows a lot about cars and worked at our family car business.
Mom, who cares for me, like when I ask her to do something, she does it,
even when it seems like I ask for too much, she is always able to do it.
Mom, who I love so much!
