Make it a Splendid Week: Glamping Adventure
This week’s edition of Make it a Splendid Week celebrates the successful Periwinkle Glamping Gala! These beautiful scenes remind us of the many “glampsites” our supporters created around the nation to watch the live show last Friday evening. With the weather cooling and Autumn among us, Glamping sounds good right about now! Make it a Splendid Week!
Chris shares in a creative writing piece a beautiful landscape we think would be perfect for glamping.
On the Mountain
I could go to the mountains
– Chris, age 8
If it’s snowy,
I’d start a fire really quick
And build a snowman.
It also has trees and bushes on it
I’m a pretty good builder,
So I could use branches to build my shelter.
There would be grass under the snow.
