Periwinkle Summer Family Getaway

Periwinkle Family Summer Getaway hosted 25 families in person over two sessions, August 2-4, 2021, and August 4-26, 2021, at Camp For All in Burton, Texas. Utilizing strict COVID-19 safety precautions, families felt at ease to enjoy their 3-day, 2-night stay at camp. For many families, it was a breath of fresh air to get out of the house and enjoy time as a family. The high ropes course, horses, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, and fishing were just a few of the activities families experienced at camp. During the evenings, families enjoyed a campfire with s’more, and showcased their talents in the Talent Show! It wouldn’t be camp without making s’mores! Thanks to all the supporters for a wonderful week.

Camp For All, Located about 1.5 hours from Houston, near Burton, Texas

Accomodations

Each family will be housed in a private cabin with their single family unit.

Who

Eligible families must have a child between the ages of 5-16 years old currently being treated or previously treated for cancer at Texas Children’s Cancer Center

Schedule

Both caregivers and children can share in the joy of watching and cheering on each other as you climb the ropes course, ride a horse, go fishing, or complete an art project together!
