On February 10, 2019 hundreds gathered for the annual Celebration of Life, hosted this year at the Double Tree by Hilton Houston Greenway Plaza. Throughout the afternoon, survivors and their families joined in arts & crafts activities, mini golf, inflatables and other fun activities to celebrate life!

This year themed “Survivors Soar”, attendees witnessed and heard stories of survivors celebrating life and accomplishing some of their greatest dreams beyond their cancer treatment. From running a household of kids, going through graduate school, to volunteering annually for Periwinkle events, the afternoon provided stories of hope and celebration for all present!

We are thankful to host this event year after year in partnership with Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Centers to further provide programs that positively impact the lives of children, young adults and families who are challenged by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

We give special thanks for the Creating for Care students at Deerwood Elementary School for their volunteerism, special performance, and incredible financial support of Periwinkle programs!
