Make it a Splendid Week: All About Dogs
During this time of social distancing, though we’re physically seeing less of some our best friends and family- we are able to spend even more time with some of our most loyal friends – our dogs! Whether it’s going on multiple walks a day, having a “co-worker” on the couch, or getting sweet puppy snuggles and kisses – we sure are thankful for these companions now more than ever.
In this week’s edition of Make It A Splendid Week, we celebrate all things dogs and learn a little bit about the dogs of two of our talented Periwinkle artists. We hope you enjoy both Abraham and Cash’s creative work about their dogs!
All About Dogs
Dogs don’t eat turkey.
They eat dog food.
You pour it in the cup or the bowl.
They usually eat it
In the morning when they wake up.
We walk our dogs too.
They walk and they run.
They walk slow too.
They sleep in their house,
A kennel.
But, actually, they run away,
Faster like cats when you touch them.
I touch my dog and he doesn’t run away.
We pet them too.
Sometimes some people come to the door,
And dogs bark when they open the door.
They run around and bark.
Sometimes they pee-pee on the floor,
But usually they pee-pee and poop
On the grass.
That’s all about dogs.
Next time we’ll talk about houses.
